About us
The Espa Stage is an outdoor living room for citizens and a window into Finnish culture for tourists. The activities are organised by the Savoy Theatre unit of Helsinki’s cultural services. Admission to the events is free.

In the summer, the programme features free events from May to September. At other times, exhibitions and occasional events are organised. Open the event calendar to see more detailed dates and times.
Location
The Espa Stage is located in the Kappeliesplanadi section of Esplanadi Park, in the heart of Helsinki. You can find the stage opposite to Restaurant Kappeli. Helsinki Market Square and the Havis Amanda statue are located nearby, on the other side of Unioninkatu.

Jazz-Espa
July - August 2024
For 25 years, Jazz Finland has been producing the Jazz Espa concert series focusing on Finnish jazz music at the turn of July and August. The high-quality free event is organised in collaboration with Savoy Theatre, which manages the Espa Stage.
Etno-Espa
August 2024
Etno-Espa is an annual city festival held during summer that focuses on new Finnish folk music. The event that takes place on the Espa Stage showcases modern Finnish folk music and folk music being made in Finland.
Mil-Espa
May - August 2024
The centuries-old tradition of guard parades brings military bands to Helsinki from May to August.
